1/31 We made it to Kauai

     What a day of travel but it was all worth it! Brooks did awesome on all the flights.  He did not sleep a wink on the 8 hour flight from Denver to Kauai, but still did great! We played games, watched movies, read books and ate LOTS of snacks! Brooks enjoyed walking up and down the isle talking to fellow passengers.  :)
      We landed to sun and 75 degrees.  Nick and Nancy came and picked us up and took us back to the house to drop off our stuff and change our clothes.
       We went to an outdoor art walk with lots of little stands.  Jewelry, art, photography and soap.  Joe made a friend already with the soap guy.  He makes the most yummiest smelling soaps and was giving us tips on where to go and when the best farmers markets were.  Brooks saw kids playing on an old rusted trailer (gross) and went running full speed to go and play with them.  He was so excited to see kids his age!

   We went to a place called the Bistro for dinner.  It was delicious! Brooks didn't make it long through dinner.  He ended up falling asleep on my shoulder.  It was around 1:00 a.m. Ohio time.  I didn't mind at all! :) 

    We are off to explore the beach!
